Women's Retreat Keynote Speaker
Emily spoke at a three-day women’s retreat for Indianola Community Church, leading three sessions on Drawing Near to God—from the hindrances we face to the hope and transformation found when we draw near: redefined, refined, and released.
Guest Speaker in South Africa
Cape Town, South Africa is where Emily lived for a month on mission with YWAM. It was there where she got the chance to share a short, encouraging message to the local congregation on abiding in the Lord, trusting Him with your dreams and desires, and seeing the fruit follow.
Women's Breakfast Church Gathering
Harvest Efree Church hosted a women's breakfast where Emily had the opportunity to share her testimony & encourage other women to delight themselves in the Lord and see Him work on their behalf, fulfilling their desires.
"Meet the Author" Night
A local library in Ellsworth, Iowa asked Emily to share her heart behind Broaden Your Becoming, her recently published book. Emily shared her inspiration, God-stories dispersed throughout the book, and participated in a Q + A.
Small Group for Women in Transitional Home
Emily was graciously welcomed to lead a book study at a transitional home in Ames for women coming out of prison and acclimating to day-to-day life. For 10 weeks they read Broaden Your Becoming, which included discussion Q's and reflective activities to follow.

This was a night centered around Emily's first book, Broaden Your Becoming. There was worship, coffee, charcuterie, a short message, and opportunities to get involved with Emily's ministry.
